Anti-Cellulite Vacuum Cup – Product Review

Cellulite Cup Therapy

Cellulite!? No thank you, don’t have any yet but that doesn’t mean I won’t get it! Ugh… definitely not looking forward to it. A little while ago I kept seeing ads circulating on socialmedia about this little Anti-Cellulite Vacuum Cup, claiming with its use I will be able to eliminate or I should say in my case prevent the ugly monster “Cellulite”! I kept ignoring these ads until one day I decided to click on the link and see what the fuss is about. I watched a quick video demonstrating how to use it and what to expect as a result. So here I thought to myself… I’m in my late 30’s and in pretty good shape, I eat well, I exercise a bit and definitely work my thighs and buttocks to keep it all together and keep in good shape. But having had 2 kids already, and getting older and hormonal changes in my body may someday result in having to deal with cellulite. So… what the heck… let’s give this a try. After all it was not expensive, it looked like this Cupping Therapy may actually work. Breakdown of fat cells in the body using suction massage technique on affected skin areas makes perfect sense. I decided to make the purchase and find out for myself.

Anti-Cellulite Cup

Before I get into my Product Review of the Cellulite Vacuum Cup any further, let’s first learn about the problem… What is cellulite?

Fat deposited in pockets close to the skin surface, commonly found in and around the thighs, buttocks and inner arm. These pockets are separated by strands of collagen fibers. The breakdown of these strands combined with accumulation of fat, cause the fat cells to swell and bulge out, creating the rippled look of cellulite. Although cellulite is a normal occurrence and mainly increases as we age, due to hormonal changes, poor diet and lack of physical activity (affecting almost 90 percent of women and 10 percent of men during their lifetime) it can be prevented and in some cases even reversed to some level.

Formation of Cellulite diagram

Now that we know what cellulite is and how it comes about, let’s see what this beauty gadget does and how it works (not as easy as you may think)…

… a bit of a horror story but it all ends well.

When I ordered my Anti-Cellulite Cup, it came fairly quickly (always impressed with Amazon delivery speed) and I wanted to try it right away as I was very curious. I followed instructions and went right to it. My first reaction was horrific to be honest… IT HURT!!! It pulled the skin and I was upset that I spent even the little money that I did on it but still… This should not hurt, so I thought about it and figured I must be doing something wrong as the next day I woke up with bruises all around my thighs (where I mainly used the product). I was very upset, I couldn’t go to the gym and do my swim laps the next day as I was embarrassed to show my legs. I looked like somebody beat me… no joke! This turned out to be a horror story not a beauty regimen! But wait… there is good news here… as I said before, I was doing something wrong. I was allowing too much air out of the cup therefore made the suction way too strong for me, thus the pain and the bruising. Once I figured out how to properly use the suction cup it was smooth sailing and effective too. I had to allow about 1 week for my bruising to go away and my skin to go back to normal to try again. Ever since I have been safely enjoying the suction cup 2 -3 times a week with great results. Again, in my case my goal is prevention and as a result I feel firmer and tighter thighs and buttocks (my personal target areas). Finally I got the hang of it. I’m going to tell you that if you’re curious to try the Anti-Cellulite Cup Therapy approach, it truly does work but please follow my instructions closely… to avoid what I went through.

How to Safely use Anti-Cellulite Cup Therapy:

Anti-cellulite cup use instructions

  1. I start with my favorite Massage Oil application to my targeted areas that I want to work on

  2. Gently squeeze cup from the middle and apply onto skin (the suction will stick the cup to your skin)

  3. Start to slowly and gently move and massage in circular and up and down motion *(if it hurts, it means you need to squeeze the cup less for less suction. Remember, it’s NOT supposed to hurt. So adjust the suction and continue)

  4. Use for at least 5 minutes a day per area (I personally do this 2-3 times a week)

Anti-Cellulite Vacuum Cup – REVIEW

Product:  Anti Cellulite Body Cupping set of 2
Price:  $16.99 (retail)
Cheapest Place to Buy:
Made of:  BPA free silicone
Guarantee: Safe & Non-Toxic
My Rating: 9 out of 10

Results: Cellulite leads to the formation of clusters of adipocytes. As long as these groups remain grouped together, it will be impossible to eliminate them. With the cup massage and its reproduction of the skin pinch and roll technique, you will deconstruct these clusters. As the massages continue, these clusters of adipocytes will reduce. The fat cells will be released and therefore used by your body. The excess fat is converted into energy: it is the lipolysis (breakdown of fat). Furthermore, the adipocytes don’t compress the blood and lymph vessels and water, collagen, oxygen … all flow better. This cupping therapy set is known for promoting blood circulation, anti cellulite, pain relief, relieving joint and muscle soreness and eliminating body toxinsYour skin recovers its elasticity!

Even though I have encountered some bruises at first… haha, I highly rate this item and do recommend it to those who are willing to take the time and become friends with it before use. Results are there, but it takes time to learn how to use the cup in order to achieve desired results and avoid some unpleasant skin injury.

The purpose of my review is to hopefully help those who are going to use this product, and share my not so great experience with it at first to prevent the same mishap. Hopefully my review is not discouraging but educating. The vacuum cups really do work, you just need to know how to use them correctly. Unfortunately they did not come with proper instructions.

I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions about the Anti-Cellulite Cup Silicone Cupping Therapy or want to leave your own personal review, leave a comment below.

  1. Thanks for the review of Anti-Cellulite Vacuum Cup and trying it out. It helps to know that it shouldn’t hurt or leave bruises! That would have ended it for me.

    1. Hi Sandra
Yes, the whole point of my review is to hopefully help those who are going to use this product, and share my not so great experience with it at first to prevent the same mishap. Hopefully my review is not discouraging but educating. The vacuum cups really do work, you just need to know how to use them correctly. Unfortunately they did not come with proper instructions. Thanks for stopping by Sandra 🙂

  2. Wow nice stuff here for those suffering the cellulite battle. It even looks like the things would work. At first I though they were finger condoms or something bizzarre but I can see them actually work. I don’t have cellulite but if I did I would def grab this product. The price. Not bad, could be a few bucks cheaper but it will work. Great post!
P.S. I’m sharing your posts on my wall so all women friends from H.S. can check these out. Lol jk

    1. Hi David, haha yes the silicone cups look a bit weird and maybe misleading at first glance. Price is right in my opinion, given the fact that how they made they will last a long time and you’re getting a set of 2 for $16.99 They definitely work or otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this post. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Cheers.

  3. I enjoyed your review. I am way too far gone to buy that little cup for my whole body. Do they make a gigantic size? At my age, I would be using it all day and getting nothing else done.
Great review. You covered all the basics and more. Sorry about the pain and bruising. Some lessons are painful to learn. Great explanation on the right way to use it. I like the way you write. It feels like we are sitting at the kitchen table over a cup of coffee.
    Awesome post.

    1. Thank you so much Deborah, even though this product may not be for you I still appreciate your input and comment. I’m not a pro at writing… but I try to write as naturally and authentic as possible. Just as you said, exactly… if we were sitting down in the same room and sipping coffee. It’s how I want everyone to feel. Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Hi Agnes
I have also seen this anti-cellulite cup circulating on the internet and got curious about it. And then came across your review. Thank you for taking the time to share your very honest experience. You shared an authentic review (we need more like these) which helped me make a quick educated decision, and since I have been looking for a solution to eliminate some cellulite I have decided (with your help) to purchase this Cupping Therapy. I am still waiting for my package to arrive and am excited to give it a try. In the past I have tried many products, treatments and creams that promised to work but didn’t. I know this will require some time and work to see results, but what have I got to lose given such inexpensive price. Once again, thank you Agnes for your recommendation and will be back to share my results.

    1. Maddy
Thank you for trusting in my review, I can’t wait to hear back from you with your own feedback. Let me know if you have any questions.

  5. Who would have thought that these really worked? Prior to reading your information, I thought it was a scam. I can tell by reading your site that you are expressing your honest opinion and review. I would try these gadgets to see for myself.
My wife is at the age where she is beginning to worry about things like this, it bothers her a little. Is it really that simple, just pinch them and set the suction and leave it for a few minutes?
Thanks for all the information and I will pass this on to my wife. She will be amazed as I was after reading your site. Thanks

    1. Hello Bob
Actually, the way I do this is as a massage technique, so you will be moving the cup around in circular motions or up & down motion for about 5 min per area several times a week. Hope this helps and thank you for your comment.

  6. I just have one concern. That is a little small diameter that has to cover a pretty good area. What do you do just place it over the area one spot at a time in one session or do you target one area one day and another the next? Thanks.

    1. Hi Ronnie
This is a massage technique, so the cup size is perfect as you will be moving it around in circular motions or up & down motion therefore you will be able to cover as much surface area as you wish. Hope this helps. Thank you for visiting.

  7. I bought an inexpensive set from Amazon as well and use both seditary cupping and moving/ massage cupping and am amazed at the results. I had cupping marks from the stationary cups which are not bruises they are the toxins coming to the surface of the skin that are then flushed through the lymphatic system. A Google search can explain this in more detail but is why the Olypmic athletes were all sporting giant cupping marks. So they not only reduce cellulite but remove old stagnate toxins. I found alternating the sizes when using them for just seditary suction helped and putting them before my daily shower helped since the heat helps. I also used Apple cider vinegar, cocunut oil and dry brushing and my results were amazing. I did my calves and with a pair of heals my calves looked noticeably fabulous for the first time ever!
Thanks for posting! There are a lot of inexpensive ways to treat issues and cupping is one of them!

    1. Hi Carrie, thank you for your feedback. It’s great that you have tried this method with such success. I must say… apple cider vinegar and coconut oil, I will have to try that 🙂
Thanks for visiting and sharing your experience.

  8. I have the cup and I tried it for the first time on Wednesday. No matter the suction, it seems to hurt. I’m worried that the little amount of suction I use, it won’t work. It almost feels like no suction at all. I’m wondering if it’s cause I have a bad case of cellulite? Also, I use baby oil, cause that’s all I have. What do you suggest?
